Meridian is a real estate development firm focused on growing secondary and tertiary markets throughout the central United States. Meridian’s parent company, Cornerstone Associates, LLC, has a 30+ year history of successful LIHTC development across the Midwest and Mountain States. The combined portfolio of both companies includes over 40 developments in dozens of communities throughout Texas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Colorado.

Meridian manages all aspects of multifamily real estate development, from property acquisition and entitlement through construction to ongoing asset operation and disposition. As a vertically integrated firm, Meridian has the staff and expertise to navigate each phase of the development process.

Development

As a full-service development group, our expertise includes all aspects of real estate development, including: performing due diligence, site acquisition, securing entitlements, managing design and construction, initiating financing and finally, property and asset management.

Property Management

Meridian’s in-house property management group, Beacon Management is an experienced and respected manager of multifamily properties across the Midwest and Mountain States. Collectively Beacon’s team has many decades of experience in property management, and handles everything from lease-up, maintenance, and tenant programming to social media presence for their properties.

Construction Management

During the construction process, our team facilitates communication between ownership, architect and contractor, through regularly scheduled meetings, site visits, and progress reports. These efforts are important to keep project ownership appraised of construction progress as well as to ensure that construction proceeds on time and on budget.

Asset Management

Our asset management team ensures that properties in their portfolio operate at their most efficient level. They aim to maximize the return on investment to ownership by proper budgeting, timely maintenance and following best management practices.

Development Advisory Services

We advise property owners and institutions by lending our development expertise handling rezoning, permitting, design, construction and beyond.
